Anthony Cafiero is an accomplished musician who moved to Connecticut’s shoreline from the New York City area in 1987. Working for a major microphone and electronics company while completing his post graduate work, Tony traveled extensively and managed artist relations as well as Broadway production startups during the early days of large multiple wireless microphone systems use. Among others, Tony has worked with Prince ( Purple Rain Tour) The Firm, U2, George Benson, Roberta Flack, Hall & Oates, Liza Minelli. Gladys Knight, John Entwistle, Billy Idol, Robert Plant, Foreigner, RUSH, and was production supervisor for wireless microphones at the first Live Aid concert in Philadelphia. Additionally, Tony contributed to the sound design and startup of major Broadway hits including Starlight Express, Phantom of the Opera, Big River, Into the Woods, and others.

Tony retired from the audio industry in 2004 and has since been overwhelmed with the positive response to his solo musical act featuring piano and vocals. Tony enjoys singing jazz and popular “standards” when entertaining private parties, cocktail hours, retirement communities, and at upscale restaurants and bistros. Employing a modified piano style and technique made popular by Fats Waller called “stride piano” that fits seamlessly into Blues and Jazz formats, patrons often comment on the uniqueness of the sound as well as the smooth marriage of songs from a bygone era to this type of playing.

Furthermore, popular area bands continue to employ Tony as a "sideman" on piano and Hammond organ including the Memphis Soul Spectacular, West of Yesterday, Garry and the Moodswingers, MassConnFusion, Bart Bryant and others.

Featured studio soundtracks included in this web page are of Tony with his own five piece band recently recorded and available for distribution on CD or free via download under the MUSIC tab on this site.
